VISTEC Celebrates 10th Anniversary with the 2nd Sustainable and Green Electrochemical Science and Technology (SGEST) Symposium
Renowned Electrochemist Prof. Richard Compton to Deliver Plenary Address
Wangchan Valley, Rayong, Thailand – September 2024: In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) is proud to announce the 2nd Sustainable and Green Electrochemical Science and Technology (SGEST) Symposium, taking place from January 13 to 15, 2025, at the Centre of Excellence for Energy Storage Technology (CEST). This prestigious event will bring together global experts in electrochemistry and green technologies to explore advancements aimed at addressing sustainability challenges.
A key highlight of the symposium will be the plenary address by Prof. Richard Compton, Aldrichian Praelector Emeritus at the University of Oxford and a Highly Cited Researcher. Prof. Compton is recognized for his pioneering work in electrochemical sensors and single-entity electrochemistry, with over 1,600 publications to his name. His research has profoundly impacted both academic studies and practical applications, particularly in the areas of climate change monitoring and the development of sustainable technologies.
