Wangchan Valley, Rayong, Thailand – September 2024: Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) is proud to announce that Prof. Arumugam Manthiram, a world-renowned expert in materials science and engineering, will deliver a plenary address at the 2nd Sustainable and Green Electrochemical Science and Technology (SGEST) Symposium, from January 13 to 15, 2025, at the Centre of Excellence for Energy Storage Technology (CEST). The symposium, celebrating VISTEC’s 10th anniversary, will bring together experts in electrochemical science to explore innovative solutions for sustainability challenges.
Prof. Manthiram, a Highly Cited Researcher with over 1,000 published papers, is a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He is recognized for his groundbreaking work in energy storage materials, such as lithium-ion batteries and fuel cells. In addition to his vast academic contributions, Prof. Manthiram delivered a Nobel lecture on behalf of Nobel laureate Prof. John B.
